Antibacterial Activity and Extraction of Triterpenoid to lantana camara L. in Iraq

Abstract Lantana camara belongs to the family Verbenaceae. This consists of more than 100 genera and contains nearly 2600 species. Many these species are tropical or subtropical region. L. is cultivated as decorative plant for making a boundary in garden field. Whole extracts used treat asthma, measles, various types cancer. The study aims extract triterpenoid within lantana considering environment Iraq. Various separation methods based on temperature graduate were employed. Several solvents, including ethanol hexane, activity an antibacterial agent against number pathogenic (Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsilla aeroganas). disc diffusion method was inhibition zones different concentration calculated.
